My Solutions To the World

(1) Global Warming
Well you could start by taking mass transport like the bus and MRT. However, for me, I just hope other people do that instead of me. You could not bath for the week so that you won't waste water. Or not eat for a week so you don't open your refrigerator. A good suggestion is that you could pour salt over the north and south poles but, bad things happen when you temper with nature. My favorite solution is too set up an artificial ozone layer (only be achieved in 500 years time).

(2) Over Population in India
The easiest one to solve. Simply promote homosexuality. That way less children will be born and more people will die. They could also cut down the number of hospitals by half. Or you could start the 20th century witch hunt in India. They could also piss off some other country so India get bombed.

(3) World Hunger
Solve over population in India.

(4) Low Population
Simpliest and best way to solve this is to make prostitution legal. And like a person i know would say, improve technology so that the babies can live up to their first year.

(5) Suicides
Make prostitution legal.

Utter Nonsense

Let me start out by telling you a story.

Once upon a time, there was a dwarf who lived in a forest. He was happy with the location of his house and already made a lot of new friends. However, Mr Sore wanted yo pick on this dwarf by destroying his house and making him move to a new house. Mr Sore did this almost 4 times on the dwarf and in the end the dwarf ended up sad and miserable.

Moving on.

When I got home after a sad and miserable day in school, I decided to draw my new favorite obsession: Yuna from Final Fantasy X. I was happy with the way the drawing turned out but guess what, Mr Sore the II came (AKA my father) He start yapping about how I always draw girls. W**. So I go emo and colored Yuna BLACK using my 8B pencil. But Oops. I smug it onto my other drawings and I went Godzilla on my scatch book.In the end the 3 drawings in the scatch book (took 2 months on that. did not use it much) went in the bin.

At the end of the sad and misarable day I have vowed not to ever draw ever again and not to become a disney animater(>.<). Still emo-ing

PS thanks kenneth for thumping me on the face and benedict for causing it

Hong Kong

It has been over a year since I went to Hong Kong during the June holidays last year. It was a wonderful place. Its system of transport is very much the same like Singapore. It has trains like our MRT. They even have HDB housing estates like the one commonly seen in Singapore.

This is a picture of my brother and me on the airplane heading to Hong Kong. This was the second time I traveled via plane. The first time was when I was just 5 years old so I do not remember it. The food they gave was delicious! I especially like the way they presented the food in this small rectangular boxes. The bread with butter was very wonderful.

They also had this little television that you could pull out from under your chair. You could play games, listen to music or watch movies. I played this game called 'Zelda' but it was boring so I read my book instead.

The first picture shows the view from our hotel room in DisneyLand Resort. As you can see, the sea is visible from the balcony. The second picture shows the exterier of the hotel. It clearly resembles one of the palaces in the fairytails. The third once shows the lobby. It is very nicely decorated and also resembles like a palace.

On the second day, we went to the theme park. This is a picture of the entrance of the park. This is the 'best part' of the theme park. It is clearly based on a show about teenagers singing around their high school for no apparent reason and other people around them would either dance with them or do not even realise they are singing out of the blue. Amazing that people go crazy for such shows as equally as they would for a float with singers that look like the actors in the movie only that they have squinted eyes and look more Asian. They even lip sing!

Disney Land is divided into different parts. This one was called 'TomorrowLand'. There were planets and space ships. The exciting rides are also found in this section. There was one ride that goes into a dark tunnel. They used special effects to make it look like there's stars and exploding planets.
This is a picture of 'It's A Small World After All' . There was this big clock tower and when it rings, all this little dolls came out and started singing as shown in the second picture. There was also a ride inside the clock tower and it features some of these dolls. You may think it is childish but actually it was enjoyable and cute seeing these robotic doll move or dance as you sail down in a mini boat.

Overall the trip there was more then enjoyable. It really makes you feel as if you are inside one of Disney's fairy tails and you had to constantly remind yourself that your in the real world.

Chalet

Just 2 days ago, I went to the chalet with my cousins. On the first day, we were looking forward to swimming however, we went to the beach nearby instead because it was already 5pm. When we arrived, my cousins have made a mini aquarium in the sand as deep as your ankles filled with the things I disgust. Yuck! There were worms, as big as your fingers, and sea snails. There were also crabs and fish.

My cousins took advantage of this, who would not, to scare me. So some of them pick up the worms with sticks and tried to scare me.

At night, we went to E-hub to go bowling. It was fun playing bowling with my cousins. The activities we enjoy playing together are bowling, swimming and games. My target was to at least get a strike, unfortunately, I did not. Whats more all of my cousins got at least one strike. We finished at 3 in the morning.

On day two, we went cycling at the park. It was fun feeling the wind in your face. We played in the sand in between. After that we cycled down the hill at full speed before returning the bike. On the walk back to the chalet, one of my cousin suggested a shortcut through the mangrove forest. However it was a long cut.

After that we went swimming. SPLASH! It was only for 1 hour. Then we went bowling again! Again my goal was to get a strike however i failed again. I had a cup of coffee because I was feeling sleepy. I have always wanted to try a Latte. Today we finish at 4 in the morning.

Bad Service

Everyone has experience bad service before. The most common situation is when you ordered something but it doesn't arrived and turns out the waiter left it out or forgot about it.

I have experience something like that however it was because the waiter did not understand me. Me and my cousins went to McDonald's near our chalet. We went to the counter to place our order. After every meal, the cashier will ask whether we would like twister fries and upsize. She said that after every meal we order! After the meal came, she forgot my apple pie so i approached the counter and ask her where is my apple pie. She went "Huh?" while furiously tapping her friend. I asked her again and she went "Huh?" again. Finally her friend asked me whats the problem and I finally got my apple pie. After that, I joked with my cousin that we could go up to her and say that she forgot our order and get free food.

There was another incident at Swensen's where they forgot my waffles. My mother asked them where my waffles was and the waiter asked the other waiters. After a few minutes they stopped and acted like nothing happened so my mother asked then again. Then the three waiters started to hassle and walk here and there while we waited. In the end, we canceled the order.

Once in Colma, Malaysia, my cousin ordered steak but they gave raw meat. They also took 1 hour just to get me a glass of mineral water.

This shows how bad service can be. Everyone will experience bad service now and then. Some can be irritating and some can be funny!

Holidays continued

There were no taxis and whats more we needed three taxis as there were 14 of us. Then, the first stroke of luck during the entire holiday so far, three taxis came. It was like you won a lucky draw.

By the time we arrived at Legend hotel, it was al
ready 4 in the morning. The sensation felt can only be compered to being lost in the forest for 3 days and finally get rescued. Whats more, I challenged my cousin to stay awake throughout the whole journey. I actually did it due to two reasons. Firstly sleeping on the chair is not comfortable. Two, I could not sleep. Fortunately, the hotel was beautifully furnished if not, I would crack.

Each room had a wonderful view of the patro
ness tower also known as the twin tower. Having stayed awake till 4pm all of us turned in. The bed there was also comfortable because i have never slept that well in a hotel before.
This is a picture of me and my cousins at the hotel lobby. Right beside it is the cafeteria where they served my favorite food which is WAFFLES! However on the second day there the waffles was as hard as rocks. It was like munching a piece of really burnt toast.

This is the picture of my family in front of some of the beautiful artwork in the hotel.

Throughout the three days there, we just went swimming and shopping. We did go to the in door theme park at time square. I think thats the only interesting part of the trip.

Holidays

The December holidays has just passed and I still have the urge to stay at home and relax. I went to Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia during the holidays. However, this holidaay did not start on a happy note.

My family arrived at the train station at 2pm. I was eager to meet up with my cousins at Johor Baru train station. We waited till 2.10pm however, the train still has not arrived. My father and I decided to investigate this and found a white board with ' The train will be delayed to 4.15pm due to some technical difilculties' writen on it. You do not know what kind of anger I felt after reading that! Imagine you feel such excitement only to be delayed. Ironically, the information counter is emty.

With almost 2 hours to spare, we decided to have lunch at one of the resturants at the train station. At least the food there manage to calm me down. I had black pepper fried rice and I do like anything that is covered with pepper. By the time we finish eating it was 3.30pm. Just 45 more minutes to go so i wondered back to the whiteboard and guess what, they delayed it to 5.05pm. From that momment onwards, negative thoughts came to my mind like the train being delayed again and again.

Time passed as slowly as a snail...

Finally the gate to the train platform openned and all of us crammed iinto the gate. After getting our passports checked, we waited for the train to arrive. We waited and waited. Finally the train came and it was already 5.45pm. We met with my cousin's family at Johor Baru train station and was on our way to Kuala Lumpur via train.

We arived at Kuala Lumpur train station at 3 in the morning. If not for the delays, we would have arrived at 9pm. You could imagine how empty the station was. The roads were empty and there was no taxi in sight.
